Dottie

Dottie-Barnes

Although she was dealing with the effects left from cancer, Dottie enjoyed living in the independent living area of a local retirement facility. An agency was providing companionship care to help her be as independent as possible. However, it wasn’t the quality of care Dottie’s family wanted for their mother, so they began looking for the high quality of care they expected.  In 2008, they enlisted the services of Senior Home Companions, whose team of dedicated caregivers provided Dottie around-the-clock care seven days a week—everything from personal care to medication reminders to household tasks.

Dottie’s caregivers helped her maintain a joyful life full of laughter, stay involved in activities at the facility, play games and take walks. They became family to one another, with Dottie counting on them like her own family and her caregivers considering her a second mother.

“We couldn’t be happier with our caregivers or your organization. We’ve been truly blessed to have your company when we were in such need. Thanks to all for such professionalism and detailed interest to all of Mother’s needs.”
